City Mobile Office to bring essential services to Durbanville and Hanover Park

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will bring essential municipal services closer to residents with a Mini Service Blitz in Durbanville on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, followed by a Basket of Services visit in Hanover Park on Thursday, 27 August 2026. Residents are encouraged to make use of these visits to resolve municipal queries and access City services.

The details are as follows:

  • Tuesday, 25 August, 10:00–12:00: Durbanville Municipal Building, Oxford Street, Durbanville
  • Thursday, 27 August, 09:00–15:00: Hanover Park Civic Centre, 50 Surran Road, Hanover Park

The Durbanville Mini Service Blitz will offer assistance with municipal accounts, revenue and indigent and pensioner grants, Subcouncil matters, meeting the councillor, compost bins and area cleaning.

The Hanover Park Basket of Services will include officials from Human Resources, Community, Arts and Culture Development, Business Hub and Jobs Connect, Customer Relations, Energy, Health, Safety and Security and EPWP.

Services will include assistance with billing and meter queries, healthcare information, bursaries and job opportunities, as well as traffic and law enforcement information.

‘We encourage residents to make use of these convenient opportunities to resolve municipal queries and access a range of City services closer to home. I look forward to meeting residents in Durbanville on Tuesday. On Thursday, our teams will be stationed in Hanover Park, where our Basket of Services will be available from 09:00 until 15:00.
