City advises of critical electricity maintenance in Hanover Park

The City advises customers in the Hanover Park area of upcoming critical electricity supply interruptions for maintenance, which will be carried out from 08:00 until 18:00 on Thursday, 3 September 2026. Please note that outage duration is an estimation and restoration could be delayed due to the complex nature of the work.

The maintenance is essential to enhance the quality and reliability of electricity supply in Hanover Park. The work is planned to be carried out from 08:00 until 18:00 on 3 September 2026, if all goes to plan.
The outage will impact the following streets:
- Lonedown
- Ryburg
- Rosewood
- Lauren
- Conifer
- Johndown

The electricity supply could be restored at any time and customers must please treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the planned maintenance work. Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on.
