By setting targets and tracking our performance, we can ensure that we meet the needs of our residents. Our Performance Management System translates the City’s vision and strategy into action. It also helps define our strategic 5-year Integrated Development Plan (IDP) into measurable outcomes that allows us to equip our leaders, managers and stakeholders with tools and techniques to plan, measure, monitor, evaluate and review our service delivery.
Using scorecards to measure performance
Our performance scorecards are one of the methods we use to track and make public our set targets and achievements. The scorecards are published quarterly and form part of the City’s annual report that is published once a year. Below, you can find the quarterly scorecards for the City of Cape Town and its municipal entities, the Cape Town International Convention Centre Company (Convenco) and the Cape Town Stadium (CTS).
