Festive season bookings for Soetwater, Miller’s Point open on 1 September

The City of Cape Town wants to inform the public that the festive season bookings for the Soetwater and Miller’s Point coastal resorts will open on 1 September 2026.

Bookings for the festive season period – 15 December 2026 to 15 January 2027 – will open on Tuesday, 1 September 2026:

• For the Soetwater Resort at 08:00 – phone 021 444 6769/70
• For the Miller’s Point resort at 13:00 – phone 021 444 6769/70

Bookings for this period will be taken telephonically only.

Please be reminded of the following:

• Plots may not be swapped or given to another camper. The person who made the booking must occupy the plot on the day, and should she/he no longer need the plot, the booking will be cancelled and allocated to the next person on the waiting list
• No changes will be made to bookings once an invoice has been issued
• Extending the stay will depend on the availability of the plots, and campers may need to move to a vacant site

‘These resorts are very popular over the festive season and usually, all of the plots are fully booked within a day once we open the bookings to the public. Given the high demand, residents should please be patient as it may take a while to get through on these numbers,’ said the City’s Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee Member for Spatial Planning and Environment, Alderman Eddie Andrews.
