The City’s Energy teams have proactively aligned two critical planned maintenance works as part of our infrastructure upkeep programme, including essential work on the high voltage network. This was done to minimise customer power disruption by initiating one planned outage rather than two separate outages for the planned works.
As a result, the previously scheduled work for Saturday, 19 September 2026, will no longer take place on that date, with a new date to be communicated to affected residents in due course, thereby reducing inconvenience while enabling the City to continue strengthening the resilience and reliability of its power system.
