Public invited to upcoming Permit Advisory Forum for marine outfalls

The City of Cape Town invites residents, stakeholders and interested parties to attend the next quarterly meeting of the Permit Advisory Forum (PAF) on coastal water discharge, taking place on Friday, 21 August 2026.

The forum provides an open space for engagement on the permit conditions governing the City’s three marine outfalls at Camps Bay, Hout Bay and Green Point.

It is designed as an interactive platform where attendees can engage directly with City officials and specialist consultants on presentations covering the latest developments. These include compliance monitoring, environmental performance, and ongoing efforts to manage and improve coastal water quality.
