​​​​​​​​​​Purpose of the application​​​​​​

  • The proposal entails the rezoning of a property from Open Space (OS2) to Residential Zoning (R1), to regularise the existing dwelling house on-site and to permit an addition to said dwelling house. To accommodate the proposal the following applications are required:
    Section 42(a) in terms of the MPBL to rezone the property from Open Space (OS2) to Residential Zoning (R1).
    Section 42(b) in terms of the MPBL for a departure from:
     - Item 22(d) of the Development Management Scheme to permit the building to be located 1,390 m in lieu of 3,5 m from the street building line along Longdon Avenue.
