The proposal is to convert the existing dwellings on the proposed consolidated property into a hotel complex containing 43 bedrooms, a 150 m² public restaurant, as well as other associated hotel facilities. A number of the departures relate primarily to the proposed change in zoning and the resulted impact on the existing building.

  • Section 42 (a) - Rezoning from Residential Zoning (R1) to General Residential Subzone (GR2). Note: Erf 178329 is already zoned GR2 
  • Section 42 (b) - Permanent Departures
