In accordance with section 16.5 and 16.6 of the
Management of certain of the City of Cape Town’s Immovable Property Policy (adopted by Council on 26 August 2010 C54/08/10) and Chapter 4 of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (2008) we are considering applications for the lease, renewal of leases, and encroachments of a minor nature in respect of City-owned immovable property.

| Outdoor seating | Leases and lease renewals for outside seating purposes at a market-related rental. |
| Non-viable leases (Gardening and security purposes) | Leases and lease renewals of non-viable portion(s) of municipal land
at a tariff rental as approved by Council annually. |
| Encroachments of a minor nature | Leases and renewals for minor encroachments onto City-owned land

The specific details relating to individual transactions will be communicated to the Subcouncil Manager, Subcouncil Chairperson, Ward Councillor and abutting land owners.
Notifications will be posted on notice boards at the Property Transactions Regional Offices:

In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the above categories of transactions.
