Purpose of the application
It is proposed to permit the consolidation of the subject erven, which all form part of the Maitland Secondary School, which has been in operation for approximately 90 years. The purpose is to allow for a single erf under one title deed. The proposal also necessitates the removal of title deed restrictions on 4 (four) of the erven that restrict the use to one dwelling. It is noted that this is purely an administrative process and no changes or building work is being proposed. The following applications have been applied for:
- Section 42 (g) - Removal of title deed conditions
- Section 42 (j) - Removal of conditions imposed in terms of an existing approval
- Section 42(f) - To permit the consolidation of seven (7) Erven
- Section 42(o) – To correct the zoning of the consolidated Erf currently zoned General Residential Subzone (GR4) and Residential Zone (R1) to Community Zone (CO1)
